Cingular????

I'm looking to switch my cell phone service, I have Sprint PCS now and I'm not happy w/ what I'm paying or w/ my phone. I've had Sprint for years, but now there are so many options available, and was looking into Cingular but don't know if it's good or not.

So anybody who knows anything about Cingular service or has any other cell phone suggestions, let me know! Thanks.

I've heard bad things about Cingular. I know they stink out here (in CA). I've heard Verizon is the best on LI (and I'm not just saying that cause my sister works there )

I'm a sprint customer, but we're looking for a switch too which is why I've been researching this...(I want a phone that works well on LI since I'm there so much and we're moving back next year)

I dont know too much first hand about Cingular, however ,I do know that Verion has proved to be the best in my opinion. Ive had Sprint,ATT, Verizon,and currently have Nextel, and Verizon is simply the best IMO. I switched to Nextel just for the direct connect feature,and I am sooo sorry I did. Turns out Verizon is going to come out with its own direct connect feature in 2003 UGH! ! ! I should have never switched !

Thanks guys - I've been asking everyone about it and I got Verizon, my FH has Verizon so we have the mobile to mobile minutes, makes things easier.

Verizon seems to be the service that most people are happiest with! I appreciate your help.
