Does anyone know how well Cingular's reception is in Long Island? They have good plans. THANKS.

I have Cingular and I have no complaints about the service. I do however, have a complaint about my phone. I've had it a little more then a year and it seems the battery is not holding a charge for as long as it used to. Other then that, I think they are one of the better phone companys.

Brian and I both have Cingular.. Love them!! Hate the fact that you can't pay in store, only in certain locations, so they go on our card. But as far as reception.. I get service EVERYwhere!!! My phone is pretty good, and I racked up a TON of rollover minutes, so i NEVER have to worry about going over!!

Where do you guys make most of your calls? I'm in the north shore (setauket area) and have at&t which gets NO reception.

FYI, I believe that Cingular is buying AT&T Wireless .. I think I got a letter in the mail about it ... Which means that their coverage will be huge then
We bought our phones when we were living in South Setauket, just off of Bellemead... We always had service..
I drive a lot during the day.. Stony Brook, Rocky Point, Wading river, and Shirley, Mastic area-- and all points in between... I have no complaints.. They also offer you a twelve or fourteen day trial, if you find you dont have service, you can try another phone, or just give it back, no charge.
