Cippolini??

in manhasset. i went there today to check it out for my shower. HOWWWWWWWWW HORRIBLE!!!

i stood there for about 20 min!!!!!!!!! the manager was in a meeting with some waiters. fine , i get it.

then some bish walks in and the manager comes up to her, talks to her for 5 min... then as he goes to walk away, a waiter reminds him about me.. he goes, 'yea yea in a min'

3 min go by.. i say fkkkk this!! and i walk out. they tried stopping me.. but i said 'having me wait for almost 30 min is unacceptable'

what aholes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


guarantee u, if i walk in there again, but with designer clothing, they would eat the corn out of my shyt.

did you check out Bob's Place on jericho??? i went their on my bday and the food was sooooo delishh

they have a private room on the first floor in the back and one upstairs Im not sure how much they charge pp though

omg where is thison jericho? i need a place that serves generous portions and GOOD food.

cippollini i heard is good..but i figured being in americana, and me dressed like a middle classed citizen (god forbid ) id get treated like shyt.

so far today i went to tavern 18,luigis, louies, tried cippolini in americana

and then i passed by verdis in whitestone but they were renovating.. they open again 2morrow.


i am soo tired.

I completely agree with you Barb. That place is TERRIBLE!!! I worked in the area for years, and I know that a lot of people like it...however, I went there for FH's bday last year and its heavy-salted, over priced food and you can get the same thing but better at ciao baby or any other Italian restaurant. Its too crowded And not to mention that some of the women there are just plain OBNOXIOUS (not all but some). Oh btw, we had a reservation for FH's bday, and they ignored it and gave my reservation to someone else, making us wait like, close to 1 1/2 to sit, and another 30min to eat. The only good thing about the place is the bathroom. Its really pretty. Otherwise I think that place is over-rated. Its just b/c its at the Americana that makes it sooooo exclusive. But I have been to other places that are twice as nice and blow that place out of the water. Not worth $$$

Ummmm try Waterszooi, try Novita, try Desceo (spelling?) try Antonettes in Bellmore, try Filomenas in Franklin Square and if I can think of anymore I will let you know.

Just a warning...if you go to speak with anyone at Verdi's at Whitestone, make sure you speak with the son, not the father. I had a strange experience with the father, let;s just say, he came across as not to professional.

However, they did just totally renovate, it looks vey nice, and I heard the food is great.
