Circle of Life

So this morning I was bummed bc my dad called to let me know that my great uncle died. I mean obviously he was old but I was still sad - him and my great aunt were always at our family parties and they had a huge BBQ at their house every summer, so I was pretty close to him.

But then tonight, the good news!

FH's sister had her baby! I'm an almost-aunt!!

All I know for sure is that she was born around 10pm and her first name is Julia... no middle name yet.

ETA: I just found out my cousin's band (Push Play) was on TRL on MTV yesterday, so yay for more good news.

Oh, I'm sorry about your uncle, but congrats Auntie!

I'm so sorry and so happy for you! I can just imagine your emotions!!

it is a circle of life isnt it??? there appears to have been a lot of deaths in our liw circle here lately and heres hoping that all of our lives get back on a more positive note

It's always amazing how the world keeps turning after such a sad thing happens! Congratulations to FSIL and family on their new bundle of joy! Julia is such a beautiful name!
