Classical trio for ceremony & cocktail hour?

Hello,

I was thinking of possibly having a classical trio play at my church ceremony and cocktail hour. My hall does not allow amplified music outdoors, so I thought a trio or strolling violins would be a nice touch.

Anyone have the name of a trio or classical ensamble that can do both a ceremony & cocktail hour? Anyone have an estimated cost for something like this?

Thanks!
Karen

There are tons of places that will give you a deal if you use them for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I was quoted anywhere from $650-$950 for a classical trio. I found most places by searching this site and others -

Hi Karen - we're using Sterling Ensembles in NYC. They're pricey, but from what I hear well worth it. For a string group, the prices are $200 per person per hour.
We would love to have them at our cocktail hr, but can only afford the ceremony! LOL

Their website is www.sterlingmusic.com

Hi! I was searching for trio for ceremony/cocktail hour and was wondering if you have any feedback on 'Encore Music' since I see you used them and they seem like they are reasonable in price. Thanks!
