I think you did it quite well actually....you were posessive, but not too posessive. The chick was trying to make you look immature by showing posession.

And yes...VERY GOOD thing he told you about all that went on....honesty is a good thing...and one thing you didn't see was that he told you so you can learn to TRUST him....he wants your trust and for you to be the same way with him.

It went very well....I'm SO proud of you and glad you had a great time with him!! Are you two doing anything this weekend???

I think you did just fine...maybe a slight bit too much with the 'baby' bit, but I agree, if he did it back, you're golden!

And the fact that he told you about the other incident is great. This guy sounds wonderful - it just seems like he's not playing any games. That's what attracted me to my DH in the first place, we went out one night for our first date and he called me at work at 10am the next morning to find out what I was doing that night. I was so impressed!! There comes a time when you just don't want to play games anymore!

Now, I once was in a similar situation and didn't handle it quite as smoothly. I almost had a girl fight But, I did have an entire rugby team to save my a$$!!

thanks for the insight:) the baby thing was not out of the ordinary for me, i call everyone babe, hun, baby, sweetie..even co-workers on occassion lol..and just so we know..i never once called him by a cutsey name till he called me BABY first lol!!!!

i wish i had a rugby team to back me up, inside i was raging mad, but didnt wanna show it, cause its not like it was really his fault or anything,

Edited: thank g-d he was honest with me, cause technically i never would have known she came up to him again, that does make me feel better

I esp. love the fact that he told you what went on while you were gone .. major *points* for the 'Date' in my book .. And I so hate women who do crap like that.. (this is probably why I don't have too many close female friends.. women can be such beeeaytches..)

Anyhoo, I am really glad that you guys are continuing to have a great time together and that things are progressing nicely.

You know , hypothetically speaking, that if this situation ever gets serious.. (even if its years down the road).. you are going to have to invite ALL of your LIWs friends to your wedding!!

Felicia thanks for the advice babe, i always look fwd to hearing what u hafta say..and ur so right b/c technically u have all been there from day 1 of this relationship, but there r no wedding bells anytime soon LOL!!!!

ohh im sorry hun!!! i get so nervous leaving private stuff on here for too long..long story short..i was out with my date guy we had a great time, later in the nite got drunk.. when i went to the jukebox some girl was all over 'my date' and i was asking opinions on how i reacted...
