I'm still putting together a list of hairstylist recs that pple have given me and I'd like to know a little more about Claudia Pedala. Can you hire her without having her sister? I already booked Jacqueline Nicole for my makeup and couldn't be happier with her, so I'm def not switching makeup artists. Does anyone know if you can have her do just one (the bride) or if she needs to do a whole bunch, including BMs? Any pricing? TIA!

Im using her. Yes, you can absolutely use her without using her sister. She is great!
Pricing is very funny with the Pedala sisters though and a little annoying. Basically its just that they have a minimum but rather than saying, this is the price for the bride and this is the price for the bms and we require a total of X amount of people...they give you a total price of $625 for hair which includes the bride plus 3 bms and up to 4 hours. so yes, its still very expensive to use her but obviuosly its not as much as that total 625 if you have bms as well.

Hmmm well I have BMs but idk how much they want to spend. I mean I could always have my mom and sister take up two of those slots, and since I'm having a total of 6 BMs, I'm sure someone else would fill up that other slot. So how much is she per person for the rest of the BMs?

for additional people, i think it said 100 each but there is a total limit to the number of people she will do within that 4 hour range so even if there are more bms, lets say her limit is 6 total, then it would go into the full day rate if you have over that number which is like 1200 and includes a certain amount of people (i forgot how many) but then obviuosly, the 100 per additional bm isnt charged then, just the full day rate.
i was so difficult for me to figure out for me. basically i started with a number that i thought was reasonably for me to pay as the bride...i figured a high number since i knwo they are very expensive, something liker 250-300 for myself and than the remainder of the price that it was coming to, i would split between the people to get a price that it would be for them...still so confusing, lol
i ended up deciding that i was paying for them as their gift cuz i realized that if they ended up not wanting to do their hair or whatever, i was gonna end up spending that money anyway cuz there was the minimum and i would have to pay it. UGH...its so annoying but i really didnt want to compromise on this vendor so i just say screw it.
