claudia does hair maureen does makeup
maureen is really sweat and did a great job and i had no allergic reaction to her makup so it was worth it to me to use her - she is expensive - but so is everything else

I'm using them both and they are great. Maureen gave my mother a special trial, fitting my mother into her schedule last minute when she visited from Florida, to test out some products and make sure my mother wouldn't have any kind of reaction to them (she has REALLY sensitive skin).
I've heard though that Claudia occasionally does makeup in addition to hair, but I haven't really seen any of her makeup work, just hair.
ETA: I don't know if Claudia has her own site, but Maureen's is www.nyweddingmakeup.com

I think I found someone to do both in Brooklyn- a freelancer that also owns her own wedding supply store near Kleinfelds...FM if you want her info!

a lot of the girls who posted their trials here looked beautiful---
the pedala sisters' fee is a drop in the bucket compared to nelson d'leon (i think he's charged around $1,000 for both make-up and hair).
it all about perspective...
i'm going to my mom's co-worker who works part-time at a make-up counter. i'll let you know what the prices are, etc. after i have my trial. probably less expensive since it's a 'side job'.
