My fh bought it for me for the holiday. What a good book. He didn't have an easy life with his biological father. He only got close to the step father right before he died. If you get the chance, read the book

I didn't know either until a friend told me about it. he didn't have it easy growing up. Your mom will enjoy the book

My Dh got me this book right before christmas - I read it in like a day! I really enjoyed it but I liked him through the whole American Idol thing - and now I like him even more.
i liked it too. it gave me a different perspective on his life. He definitely did not have it easy growing up.
