So I just cleaned out my desk at my parents house to move it here. I threw out all my bride folders... hotel info, menus, catering facility folders, folders from bridal shows, folders with music in them, and my ultimate wedding file that had all kinds of cut outs and ideas. I saved a few things I want to copy into my scrap book but otherwise its all in the big black garbage bag. It was kind of sad.

I just have some of my own things in a wedding binder that i'll be keeping... it'll be nice to show your kids how inexpensive your wedding was comapred to theirs LOL (my moms was $25 pp at the marina del rey back in 79 )

Awww I did the same thing on Sunday when I gave my friend who's getting married in October all the folders... I kept the innards for now, but only because I still have to send vendor TYs.

OMG i just got rid of some of it this past weekend but all of my Fox Hollow stuff i still have & will not throw it out even if i pack it up & put it with the other wedding stuff in the attic.

I threw out all the paperwork for vendors we didn't end up choosing, but I still have all the stuff for our vendors, and maybe a few other RHs too just in case BIL gets engaged any time soon.

aww! i can only imagine. i haven't been able to bring myself to do that yet.. i can't because it's gonna make me so sad i can't see myself parting with any of it just yet.

I have a little book I kept and wrote in and I kept a few things for my scrap book, but I couldn't justify moving things that ultimately I knew I would throw away. It was heartbreaking though.

I threw out most of my stuff last year when we were going through a big post-wedding clean. Anything else I really wanted I kept in a box that we put away called 'wedding stuff.' One day I'm going to put things into photo albums and scrapbooks, but I've been too busy to do any of it.
