Re: cleaning a microwave
I've been told you should microwave a bowl of water uncovered for a minute or so. The steam builds up on the inside of the microwave and loosens all of whatever exploded in there

I use fantastic. For the rotating piece of glass, I just wash that in the sink with dish soap.

I use the easy-off microwave towelettes. You get them in the cleaners aisle in the supermarket. Basically you microwave the towelette and use it to wipe down the microwave. It comes out sparkling!

I use the same thing for the inside and since my microwave is stainless steel I use a stainless steel cleaner for the outside.

Re: cleaning a microwave
I heard that you should add some baking soda to the bowl of water that you nuke for a minute, and then wipe down the microwave with a damp cloth....the lemons sound like it would make it smell so nice and clean!!!

Re: cleaning a microwave
I always boil water with lemon juice (one part lemon juice to three parts water) and it works great. Just wipe it down. And I love that the whole kitchen smells like lemon.

Re: cleaning a microwave
i usually nuke a bowl of water with lemons and it is so easy to wipe down the inside after. but if the microwave is stinky there is nothing better than some baking soda in water. Then, you can wipe the inside with it after to get it good and clean!
