Cleaning e ring: Do you use the toothbrush on the stones?
Do you soak in rubbing alcohol first and then gently use a toothbrush on the stones and the platinum?

I soak in 1/2 ammonia, 1/2 hot water, then I use a soft child's toothbrush to gently clean the center stone. I use a special towel for the side stones, because it is a tension setting & it is a bit delicate.

Hi Hearz. Where did you get the special towel from? I usually soak mine in a jewelry cleaner w/water in this machine I have that kind of makes the water vibrate to get off any dirt. Now I am wondering if there are better ways of doing it.

I use hot water, toothpaste, and a soft toothbrush on my stones. Works like a charm and there's no residue.
