When I met with our BM at my hall she gave me a stack of blank placecards and recommend that I use clear labels to print the guests names and then adhere them to the placecards.
Has anybody done this?

No, I have never seen this. Can't you just put th eplacecards she gave you through the printer and print directly on them?

I've seen it and have done it. You can buy the clear labels from Staples and you can feed them through the printer as well. Just be careful to touch them as soon as they come through the printer b/c they might smudge.
It's easy and cheap!

That would just be a disaster for me! The other night it took me 1 hour to print 1 envelope!

Definatley use the clear labels. I have the picture frames as table cards/favor and that what i'm going to do. Just stick it in the printer and you can pick the font that you want. Its very simple.

I used the labels and it worked out great. I printed the guest names & the table numbers on it. Then all I had to do it put them on the cards.

I intend on doing this, but we're using votive holders as Place cards

Im not doing Placecards from the Carlyle- Im ordering mine from a company that matches my invites. I think its probably much easier for me- I have too many DIY little things going on
