I needed another excuse to put on my dress so I put it on to see how it looked with the dyed crinoline and shoes.
Is it 'cheesy' that Im wearing a white crinoline for the ceremony and putting on the purple one for the reception.
Please excuse the mess of my mothers room.
O yea my dad walked in on me wearing the dress hopefully he didnt really look at it.
umm yea ur sposed to see the shoe. bad photo skills my sister has
My mother says the veil isnt the same color as the dress and that I should buy a new one. Yes/no??

Ok! I was going to use Rit Dye in the washing machine, but someone suggested that I use the bathtub instead. What did you use? Yours came out sick!
i used the washing machine. i wish i woulda thought about using the tub. it was a pain in the butt to put the crinoline into the washing machine but other than that it was easy. it'll probably be alot easier to do it in the tub. just make sure to really scrub the tub afterward.

Those are almost the exact same shoes I'm wearing -- different brand.
They were really comfortable and aren't that high (I am a high-heel wearer but can tell when shoes are comfortable or not.) These are not stiff so they dont dig into your feet, and I decided to get them a tad on the looser side so there is room for my feet to swell in the heat and from dancing. I could always bring a pad for them in case my feet shrink a lot from the AC, but I wore them while getting measured for my dress and around the bridal shop for almost 2 hours and they were very comfy. (EDIT: the site says 2 3/4' but i think that is measuring from the inside of the heel. They are more like 3 1/4')
I looooooooove the crinoline idea!!! I would do that to mine in a second (in blue) but I don't think it would be visible at all since my dress is A-line and only needs a small slip.
ahh im so mad i didnt see those shoes before!!! ill just only wear mine for the ceremony and a few pics, then the flip flops are going on!
If you're planning to do flip flops either way it doesn't matter, but if you would want to be able to wear them all night you could always try these on at Sandy's and resell yours. They are gorg shoes.

if you want it light dont keep it in the water for long. the longer you keep it in there the darker it gets.
