Cliche, but.....

Original post by BoogieDownBride

If you could have dinner with any 3 people, living or dead, who would they be?

Seriously, I am crying after reading all of your responses....

When I thought of the question, it didn’t even cross my mind to think of people I actually knew and had lost. But it is true, there are many people that if we could all have the chance to either meet for the first time or see again after having lost them, we’d do it in a heartbeat.

For me, if I were to think of lost loved ones, I would want both of my grandfathers. One died before I was one, and the other died when I was high school. I didn’t get to know either of them very well. Also, my great-grandmother, who my mom adored, and although I knew her, by the time I did she was going blind and becoming a bit senile. I would have liked to have known her when she was sharp, because she seemed to be a very amazing woman.

As for famous people, who I had originally been thinking of, I think it would be Ben Franklin…and I can’t really narrow it down otherwise…

For me it would be my dad's dad, passed away 6 months before I was born AND my mom's parents. Grandma passed away in 1982 and granddad 1999. FH never met any of them. Miss mom's parents alot

My maternal grandfather. He died when my mom was 8 and I have heard wonderful things about him from all of my relatives.

Shakespeare. I need to know more about the guy who made my name so famous.

Harry Connick Jr. I just want to have dinner with him and maybe have him serenade me. He just has to leave Jill at home
