Cliniques dyable bags are not actually dyable!!!!!

i bought all of my bms the clinique gift set that came with a dyable purse and was filled with makeup - so after having them for months - i went to go and have the girls bags dyed black to match their dresses

at the store - the woman tells me that THE BAGS ARE NOT ACTUALLY DYABLE and that she will dye them for me anyway but she guarantees that they will come out all spotted and bad because she has done them before and the bags 'do not hold dye'

so i bought these almost a year ago and they cant go back because of that - and now i have 6 white purses and no black purses...

so i have to go and buy new ones... any recommendations on where to go to and buy inexpensive but nice evening bags.

are you SURE you can't return them? Maybe call clinique and talk to them . . . That is false advertising and there should be no time limit due to the circumstances . . .

call clinique asap!!! If they deny the claim then find out from them who would dye them.

i never thought about calling clinique
i thought that i would have togo through macys

but i called clinique on the phone and they were actually very helpful - i told the girl the situation and she said 'we've actually had a lot of problems with those'

and she is issuing me a return label and all i have to do is send them back and they will give me my money so that i can go out and buy purses somewhere else

i bought clinique dyable bags for my girls as well and some of them have gotton them dyed already without any problem, maybe just get one bag dyed and see how it turns out before you return all of them. just a suggestion.

the same exact thing happened to me! i bought the bags withthe makeup inside and took them to get dyed, the guy at the store loked at me like i was crazy when i told him i wanted them dyed! i gave him the swatch and practically begged him to do it. well, he did. and they came out horrible! i had them dyed baby blue. they were all spotty and actually came out grey! i didn't have time to get other bags, so we just dealth with it. but i am also gonna email clinique and tell them about my experience
