CLM

a friend of mine went to the food tasting last week at chateau la mer and hated the food.. has anyone else tried it? Also.. I can't decide if it's worth it to spend more $$ on a nicer hall.. like the watermill.. or westbury manor.. or is it worth it to save and go with something cheaper like CLM and use the extra $$ on other stuff for the wedding.. any suggestions?

I went to a tasting and loved the food, I think you should try it yourself, everyone has different taste.

A lot of us girls book with them, it a depend on what you're looking for.

Food is a mattter of personal prefrence, FH & I have simpe pallets, altho most of our guest & parents prefer better quality..... I suggest you try the food your selfs and develope your own opion. I thought CLM was beautiful, and it was our 2nd choice (I want my Bridal shower there, one of my BM's uncle's own it, so I'm hoping).

We didn't try the food. Since we want 100-125 max guest, and CLM even worked w/ us on our min, (Nick & Lou were great), we thought that since the room we were having could hold many more guest, we would look like people didnt show up or our party was too small for the room, so we went elsewhere

Re: CLM

I went to the food tasting at CLM as did my FH. FH is very critical of food because he goes to school for culinary. We both thought the food was amazing. It was the only hall we looked at and we fell in love with it. I think it an awesome deal!!

GO to the tasting yourself. I have to admit I went to a xmas party and didnt love the food but it was good. Tasting though was amazing to both fh and myself. Not everyone is going to love the food no matter who you pick I have found this out because people have bashed on a oheka castle food service at a wedding and my mouth dropped.

Go for what you can afford and go see the places up front and personally, go to all tastings before making a final descision. Don't base your complete descision on what everyone says because I have found the places people rave about i didn't like and the places I loved people said it was okay. Make sure you are happy.

Re: CLM

I've been to a christening and wedding at CLM and I thought the food was really good both times. Plus, the atmosphere is gorgeous.
