Black Forest supposedly is not taking new clients but is honoring existing ones booked throught he halls. Check with your hall.
Debi is here for lunch. She called Black Forest yesterday, and they answered as'Black Forest' She made an appt. to discuss their cake , for March. That's all we know. Mary MOB

Lou said they are great! they make amazing cakes and pastries
I never heard of campbells before.........but it kinda ***** that ill have to go all the way to brentwood for my tasting lol but if they are good enough for CLM they should be fine...but i still wanna check them out
does anyone know if this new places has a website? or if they do cake tastings?
i searched online but found nothing. I am going to go there this weekend (most likely sunday) and get a card and check it out. I may even order a cake since we have my grandfather's burial that day and see how it is.
crap, this goes for the Riviera, too!

Grrrr.....that is what i was thinking because I live in Lindy and they just opened that restuarant a month or so ago. I guess I have to buy a damn cake from this new place to see if its good otherwise i will get hte credit for the cake and go somewhere else IoI
honestly i love black forest but as long as my cake tastes good nad looks pretty good i do not care!

Just got off the phone with XH. He owns catering company/hall and gets cakes from Black Forest. He said while it is true Tommy did open a restaurant. BF is still doing wedding cakes for his hall.
Debi is suppose to call back tomorrow. When she called yesterday, nothing was said about any changes. Guess what????? Debi saw the Victorian hat I bought for her, and loves it, and is planning to wear it to the shower!! We won't do the other hats though. Mary MOB
09 crashing----- I work next to Cambell Bakerys and I havent tried their wedding cake but usually my b-day cake is from them and is really good... If you want I can check the number for you I dont think they have a website
