CLM Brides.. DJ Problems?

I've called a few DJ's t make appointments. When I tell them I'm getting married at CLM they ask right away what room. I tell them I'm in the upstairs room and it's usually followed by someone sound annoyed going 'they don't have elevators yet, correct?' One person actually sighed before asking.

I think a concern is cause I need music for ceremony & CH too which are all down below so they have to move everything (or use smaller sound system for ceremony & CH)

Anyone have any problems? I mean it's not 4 flights of stairs! I know there is a lot of equipment but it's no hike.

Did you try the house DJ for CLM??? I think its called Unlimited Entertainment. They should not give you a hard time since they are the recommended DJ for the hall. Also try FM Entertainment, I know they do a lot of weddings at CLM and they have been nothing but nice to me since I booked. (Although, I am in the downstairs room, so I have no experienced the same issues.)

I haven't called Unlimited yet, it's just a pain for me to go to their locaiton cause going after work takes almost an hour in traffic.

FM Entertainment: I'm going to their showcase Saturday to check them out. They didn't ask which room I was using when I called so I'm figuring it's not a problem.

I kind of just wonder if some people don't want to be bothered... but I would figure I'm paying them enought to do it.

It is not fair that they are giving you a hard time...that is ridiculous!!! Although, it's a little annoying because CLM has been telling people they are getting an elevator for years, and still nothing has come of it!!!

i never had a problem when I had the upstairs room for a bit getting any vendor. Go to unlimited or go to high energy they are there all the time and do everything. I loved high energy they did a great job with my ceremony - reception.

Yeah I know. One DJ I spoke with went 'So have they gotten those elevators put in they'veb een promising for the past 10 years?' Had to admit that made me laugh cause that's all I hear from other brides too.

I'm using xtreme sounds and they didnt have a problem either.

I made sure i told them the upstairs room right away and they 'we like that room better because of the view'

I was shocked!!
