CLM Brides--wedding night hotel

Hi ladies,

I was just curious if any of you ladies could tell me where you are staying the night of your wedding...it doesn't appear that there are many hotels in the area and FH and I don't want to just go home that night lol. Thanks!

i blocked room's off at the Courtyard Marriot in Farmingdale (republic airport). We also stayed there along with our guests the night of the wedding since we had the after party there. We didn't go for the suite since it only is a second room with a sofa so we just got a regular room and it was great.

Hi!!

i am looking into the bridal suite at the Courtyard by Marriott. The OOT guests will be there too and I have heard they offer a free brunch the next morning. We may also continue the party there after the wedding. We are not very traditonal... LOL!
They also do free shuttle if you book more than 10 rooms, to and from Chateau. So basically I will be exiting on a party shuttle with friends and fam back to the 'party' suite..LOL!

We are at the Huntington Hilton. I would go with the Marriott Courtyard that has the free shuttle. FM for details. Its also a long story.

Speaking of booking hotels, how soon in advance should I do this? My wedding is in November 09, but I want to block the rooms off before I send out save the dates so that out of towners can book rooms early.

We stayed at The Garden City Hotel.

I dont think you can block rooms off earlier than a year prior at most places. At Courtyard specifically this was the case and i blocked them off a couple weeks after the one yr mark and waited until i got the cards (took a week or so) and sent them out with my save the dates last week

Hi girls-

I just called the Courtyard Marriott and they said the shuttle is free for 10+ rooms being blocked. Breakfast is $10pp buffet though. I will get the group rate tomorrow.

Also, Holiday Inn Express is Hapauagge has no shuttles but complimentary breakfast. The group rate is $119 per room.

Does anyone have info. on the bridal suite? Are you all getting ready there?

Re: CLM Brides--wedding night hotel

I am getting ready at the Courtyard and my BM's are joining me as well. The suite is $249/night. I reserved it for the night before and night of. I am still trying to figure out the picture taking thing. Cant take any at hotel or all the guests will see me beforehand. So I am trying to figure it all out. If anyone has ideas on what they are doing please share.
Thanks!

We are staying at the Extended Stay America in Bethpage. Our wedding is in the afternoon so we are doing an afterparty and this is the closest hotel to that.

I'm VYC but its not that far away, doing Courtyard by Marriott - which I inquired about two months ago and they were willing to book it then which way way more than a year in advance, also be careful if anybody is getting married near the US open I think its right by there and will book up fast FYI.
