CLM food tasting....

hi girls, i just came back from the CLM and it was very nice! I deal with Lou and in case you are interested he told me they would lower the price for a sat day in august from 85pp to 80pp! We got tons of food and great service!

was anyone there? did we see each other?

I've had the privilege of tasting CLM food some time back and the food is excellent.

its our second choice...my first is the Timber Point Country Club (its so homey), but we have yet to try the food there

when do they do food tastings?? CLM is my first choice right now (although maybe my only choice..lol) but i live in NC and i'm trying to get my dad and i up there to scope some stuff out...should i make some kind of appt.? or do they publicize them and i can just show up on a certain day/time?

I think they do them every other Wednesday evening. You have to call and make a reservation. You can have up to 6 people come with you. Its a really nice set up...full course meal with desserts. They even set up the chocolate fountain! And the food is excellent! We booked the night of the tasting once my parents tried the food!

im not so sure either...its beautiful and the view is perfect, however i didnt like the food that much (i dont eat fish, but my mom and sister said it was amazing! the steak was ok and veal too) the service was impecable and the desert was delish!! but i dont know. it is sorta out of my price range and for the taste of the food, i dont feel like i should be paying that much...IMO

fabulousmady: you were there yesterday? i was with my mom and very pregnant sister and best friend in a table by the windows.
