Where did you go to take pictures before you went to CLM??? MY church is in Nesconset, so somewhere along the way would be great. Also, what did you have as a backup plan in case it rained???

Hey, Christine!!!! Just spoke to Fred. He said they're planning to take pics at Captree State Park, at the end of the reception. Of course we're praying for no rain. They have a permit. They were going to go to Robert Moses, but it would have been closed by the time they were ready to take the pics. Also, they will take pics at CLM, and on the dock. Mary MOB

I actually checked out Argyle Park recently because as a child I saw many brides being photographed there but I have to say, it does not look good. The part where the water falls looks cruddy (it was white once upon a time) and the walkways are uneven and need to be replaced. The place looks like it hasn't really been maintained.
Duet told me (back when I booked) that many CLM brides hit a beach nearby and that it's great for pics. I have to get more info

agreed..I really don't like argyle park..not well maintained at all..why don't you hit the beach? robert moses is nearby
we went to a small park near CLM its called pearsall park hardly noone knows about it its really cute!! its on bayview i dont have any pics yet im still waiting on my proofs. i couldnt even find it on a map its on bayview right off montauk hwy in amityville
we wanted to do argyle park.....but we were worried about how many other brides would be there since it is so popular and we got married on a popular weekend
