I hear ya about fewer tables! How many people are you having? I am having teh same issue.. I am thinking 10 woudl be perfect, 12 seems kind of tight, but I am curious to see everyone else's answers!
When we went to book with CLM, there was a party going on, and there were 12 people at a table, and they weren't your average size people, and they looked pretty comfortable, so I plan on putting 12 people at as many tables as I can to save on centerpieces!
12 was fine...totally fine. Not crowded at all.

We did 10. I happen to think 12 at a table is a bit tight- We wanted our guests to have some elbow room...JMHO
We had mostly 10 and 11 people at our tables and it was fine. I would go fewer if you can just because 12 may fit but 10 is def better I'd imagine.
