CLM ladies(or anyone who knows).....final meeting??

hey girls, CLM called earlier in the week to schedule a final meeting with them. i can't believe this is all happening SO SOON!!! anyway, we still have to call them back to schedule....but my question is....what exactly do they go over at this meeting. FH said they mentioned something about our tables or seating. I am assuming we dont have to know our seating arrangement yet at our meeting.

Also, i am assuming we pick our menu....cake....anything else??? i am going to have a million things to ask them i am sure. (like when to bring our favors, menus, table #'s, placecards, etc.....who sets it up, and how do we make sure it is set up right) But i just want to make sure i am not leaving anything out. TIA

its just a meeting to go over your menu and discuss your cake and any issues or special needs for the day. You get your seating chart as well.

you go to your final meeting two weeks before the wedding to give your fanal headcount, hand in your seting chart, discuss any issues again.

Then you scheule a drop off time for all your favors, items the week going into your wedding.

The best thing is to be prepared. I had everything written down i wanted to add or take away, the menu exactly how i wanted it, the cake I had all ready type out a sheet of flavors, decorations, icing etc. even showed a pic.

the more you come in with the less work so you get out sooner.

thanks so much! i was hoping you would see this post since i knew you had been there already. So how did you know what flavor choices for the cake? Did you call or go to the bakery before hand?

i just did a research on what brides typically had as a flavor in their cakes on here and also what I liked when ordering cakes.

I did go out though on a limb and blindy said I wanted Irish Cream Flavoring on the icing and on one tier with chocolate chips but I am also ordering a cake in two weeks to test it out IoI

I am warning you - do research on here for cakes and anywhere becaues they only have two books that are VERY limited on what they are showing you. I guess they had to toss out the old ones because they changed the bakery. So try ot find a pic of exactly what you like or close.

I hope that helps. Oh and bring your paper work (the menu they handed you to select from) just circle the stuff you want on there and hand it to whoever is doing your menu with you.
