CLM or VYC?

CLM or VYC?

So FH and myself went to see VYC yesterday after his softball game. From what I have heard, read we thought we wouldnt have enough people b/c usually min are 150 but lo and behold guess what...FH and I walked in and the view hit us! After sitting down with Daisy (who was great) it seemed VYC was within our reach..and the date she had was great as well (sat afternoon in May). We went back to CLM to take a look at view, the grounds, sat around and watched the ceremony outside. So now it is decision time...we went to talk with FMIL for advice..and guess what...without even knowing it the day they have at VYC is my FH grandmothers birthday (who helped raise him and who passed when he was young..could it be fate?)

How did you all know your place was 'the place'? FH and I walked out and were like..wow this may be it.

I was in the same boat as you, I really liked both CLM and VYC. FH on the other hand was in love with VYC since the first time we went there. It wasn't until the second time I went back to VYC that I knew it was the place for us, I got chills just thinking of our wedding day. And we left there on cloud nine. I'm still so excited that we are getting married there. But both places are beautiful.
