CLM Rug???

HAs the rug in the Atrium been replaced yet??Do we have an update?? IS it in??

not that i know of......... they put July in my contract, and I happen to have a payment due on the 30th so thats the perfect time to go and check. I'll keep ya posted

I can't believe the rug still isn't in. When I went in Feb. they said it would be in in a few weeks. I didn't plan on their being a new rug for my wedding but since they brought it up I was looking forward to it. Seems like a really long time to get a rug.

I was there today and they still had the old rug but I was told that it was just cleaned. It did look really clean and in much better shape than the last time I saw it.

Is it just me, or did they add a lot more palm trees to the outside cocktail hour area? There's also a set of steps there that lead to the gazebo that I never noticed.

They put it in a contract though. I am sure they wouldn't have done that if they weren't going to do it. Why would they clean the rug before the replace it.... that sounds odd.

I thought so too but then I thought maybe it's coming in at the end of July and they need the rug cleaned for upcoming events. Who knows.

it was filthy when i was there in april. If they knew then that they were getting the carpet in July (which they must have if they put July in my contract at that time) why didnt they clean it before? why clean a carpet weeks before the new one comes? makes zero sense to me and making me feel like its not gonna be in in the next few weeks.

do i call and bother them about it if its not in by the end of july? i mean, it IS in my contract...... and i have been eyeing up some extra CH stations......

I guess technically it doesnt really matter to you if it doesnt come in july since your wedding is not until may of next year. even though its in your contract, i wouldnt sweat it until around january or so....it doesnt really affect you yet.

totally hear you and agree that it wouldnt really effect me, but i mean they put it in my contract regardless. If i went against something in the contract, esp something that was specifically added in, i am sure i would be held to it to some degree. i think thats the whole point of having it in there. so if they go back on it, now what? they cant just say 'well.... lets change it to January'
