Debi just called to share about the tasting!! She had a chat with Nick, who told her he called the owner of Black Forest, telling him he had a lot of upset Brides calling about the cake!! Black Forest will honor already contracted cakes from CLM. I would suggest you gals call and find out the cutoff, though. They got to take a lot of food home!!! Debi said the upstairs room, her's, still hasn't been completely renovated, but is suppose to be done by May. Mary MOB
thanks for the update mary! Glad they liked the food! i told you it was amazing!!!!!!!!
Hey, Heather!!!! Debi said they had one appetizer, a choice of two salads, and about six entrees!! They were going to have the salmon as one of their three wedding entrees, but have decided to go with the filet of sole! There were also pastries!!!!!! Debi loved the puff pastries!! She said she would bring food home for me, but due to my delicate tummy, and the chance of food spoiling, I told her to eat the stuff there.I thought I heard a cheer go up from Fred!!!! But, I told her to tell Fred, he may not eat my cookies!!!! He doesn't eat sugar anyway!!! She said they also had their own waiter at their table!! The more wedding info I hear, the more I'm inclined to agree with Debi's FG, ' Let's get this party started!!!' Nick sounds like a great guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very accomodating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mary MOB
