Anyone have any input towards either of these places? I've seen TC, but haven't had a chance to get to CLM yet. I'm wondering about price comparisons, food, atmosphere, staff, etc. Any info would be great!!

We're having our wedding at the Thatched Cottage. We chose there after looking around at a few other places; one criteria was we wanted something on the water. Although, I can't give an opinion on CLM, we picked Thatched because they really did give us the most for our money. My Fh and I did not want a traditional sit down dinner (financially and because this is a second wedding), instead we opted for a really expanded cocktail hour and dessert reception; Andre got what we wanted, worked with our budget, and has been extremely flexible. I don't think you can go wrong with Thatched.

I would suggest visiting both. I heard Thatch offers winter packages not sure which months they consider 'winter' . Chateau also has really great prices def worth a look. Good luck.
