close call...
soooo i was driving on the LIE this morning (i drive a lot for work) and i passed the hotel we want to block rooms at. i kept thinking it's kinda far off, but every time i pass by and see it i ALWAYS think maybe i should call and just see how far in advance i should be blocking the rooms.
so i call 411, they connect me, and i get on the phone w whoever is in charge of that stuff...and i tell her i realize its too far in advance now but i am wondering when i should and what i need to do...blah blah blah...
she says 'too far in advance?! that's memorial day weekend! we will only be blocking rooms for one more wedding that day, and no more after that.' so if i hadn't called and someone else had blocked for a wedding for my day, i would have been $hit out of luck.![]()
thank goodness i called!! so she is sending me a contract and the rooms are ours.
