i had closed toe shoes...and once for a fitting i went without stockings.....HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!
They were so uncomfortable I wanted to die right there......
make sure you try your shoes on without stockings to see if you can even do it.
plus, i wanted to weat thigh highs to be a little sexy

Heck NO! I personally find them to be itchy and annoying. It's going to be hard enough if I have to go to the bathroom without having to worry about pulling down/up stockings.

yes i wore them. wouldn't have had it any other way. a friend of mine had a bad reaction to thigh highs on her wedding day and ended up with welts. and yes there were victoria secrets.

You know what shoes I had....I didn't wear stockings...my feet slid around too much with them...but I was fine without!

Ohhh, don't forget too that it gets hot under the dress....thank goodness I didnt have stockings on...they would have melted off my body!

what shoes are you wearing with those halfsies? I just got all excited and realized that they wouldn't work if you have an open backed shoe....

chleogirl, with the cynthia shoe i don't feel the need for stockings but with some of the cheaper shoes my feet stick inside (and that's only after wearing them for like 1/2 hour!).

They also make ones that don't have the slingbacks. The ones I got are by Hue and I bought them in Nordstrom. I can't find and exact picture of them online. Editted to add my shoes.

wow, i had no idea they made those without backs. Which Nordstroms did you find them in?

edited to sayt - I HATE STOCKING TOO! That's why I will do just about anything not to have to wear them....
