WooHOO! Now this isn't our 'dream home' but it is our first step towards it! We purchased a co-op in Bayside. We love the area and are so ready to move in I will take lots of before and after pics!

Congrats! We live in Flushing but DH grew up in Bayside. You will enjoy it.
We will be leaving the area in a week or so - we closed yesterday - and I will miss knowing where everything is.
Do you mind me asking the co-op complex you bought into? Im just curious b/c I have a friends who is considering it as well.

We bought in Jeffrey Gardens...I think it is 215th place and 46th?? Maybe??I know it is pathetic I don't know where we are moving..Somewhere near there..2 blocks from bell and 2 blocks from Northern....
Christy- We put the bid in late April...So 4 months...but the seller stalled on signing the contract (1 month time) bc he was waiting to find another place he liked..so it should have been about 3 months..

I know Jeffrey Gardens - and I know someone who lives there and is very happy. I pass them as a roundabout way to avoid Northern Blvd traffic and I think they are very nice location.
