Closing on my HOme Tomorrow!!! Update

Me and FH are closing on our home which we are building from scratch in PA tomorrow. Its very nerve wracking and FH is so stressed he is hardly even talking, just in super think mode. He is so cute when he is like that. Anyway i will let all of u know how it went when we come back. This is our second home so i know how closing can be. Our first home in PA is a vacation home which we rent out. This one though is the big wopper b/c it is costing us 3 times as much as our first home. Fh is 26 and I am 24. We have accomplished so much in our lives thus far and I am so proud of the both of us. To all of those who are thinking of buying a home dont wait around save save save and trust me u can do it too.


Update:
I am so upset b/c we didnt close. They called us the last minute the day before and said that we couldnt. We have to get a new septic system that costs more and have to wait on the township to take care of this. Like another 90 days. Ahhhhhhhhhh i am so upset. However we did get to go and pick out our kitchen appliances which cheered me up.Plus FH made me feel happy. We just have to look at the bright side of things . Now i iwll be able to do more wedding planning for right now until we close.

Oh, that is so exciting! I wish I could own a home. I'm 25, and FH is 26 and its gonna be apartmentville for a loooong time. Congratulations to you both!

It is very exciting. We will be in Stroudsburg, PA. Its going to be hard though. I can tell now. This is his dream though b/c he wants a big family. Its my dream too but more his then mine. I know everything will work out ok though.

Let me guess, a LTS house?? FH & I looked there about 3 months ago prior to putting a bid on our current house...The houses are absolutely gorgeous, I just was not willing to do a 2 1/2 hour commute to work everyday

I think building a house from scratch is EVERY man's dream!!! I know my FH wishes he could! Hopefully someday we will! Gotta have a dream right!

Actaully is was Target homes. I just found out yesterday that they have a bus that is 20 bucks round trip. 10 bucks one way. Its 1hour 1/2 if u take the bus.
