CLOSING VS. MOVING IN...

For those of you selling and buying something new. How did you work the closings and the moving?

We are selling our condo and buying a house. Both closings are scheduled for the same day because I need some of the money from the sale of the condo for the remainer of my downpayment on the house. I was told I could move into the house on the same day as the closing. It seems so chaotic (sp?). Have the walkthrough (our condo will still have stuff in it when the buyers walkthrough) and the movers are coming in the morning...then we go to closing and move the stuff into our new house the same day. Any suggestions?

This is what my lawyer told me to do....closing in the morning...move in the afternoon.

The buyers really want to move in...but they can't until we move out
