Closing with escrow?

Hey,

Has anyone closed with an escrow due to CO issues? Experiences, Caveats, etc?

I think my sellers high-tailed it down to Florida to their new home and their attorney is in charge of everything, dragging it all along...

we are supposed to close and hold $ in escrow until the owner moves out. She's not moving out until about two weeks after our closing date.
