I am going to a bridal shower on sunday and they are having a clothesline. I don't know the bride very well (FH's cousin's fiance) so I am not too comfortable getting her lingerie. Would I be too much of a prude if I just got her a pretty nightgown instead?
I have never seen a clothesline at a bridal shower ... only at baby showers, so I do not know exactly what will be on it. Are you sure it's just lingerie? Maybe you could get a personalized tank top at the flea market that says something like 'Future Mrs ... ' with her new last name? (That could be considered something you'd wear to bed .... )

I have seen it done at a shower and you can definitely do the nightgown or tank top.
I had one at my bridal shower (I had never seen it before then) - it was really cute. I think you can definity do a nice nightgown or tank. There's a pic of it in my 'Bridal Shower' album if you'd like to see what it looked like.

Why not do something totally different and get a pair of silk boxer shorts for the groom - we forget about him but he's a part of a wedding too!
