Club DJ Question

I really want a DJ who mixes songs - kinda of like the ones at Lotus or one of those clubs where 80s/90s/and recent music is mixed with house/dance/electronic....Any recommendations? List price range please... Thanks!

For example, my fave are 2 Many DJs from the UK. They mix Destiny Child with Nirvana - such good stuff, can sing along too and dance dance dance!

Re: Club DJ Question

Vinny from High Voltage - a vendor on here. he used to DJ at Escapes in the late 80's/early 90's at the height of house music and freestyle.

Re: Club DJ Question

I'm most likely going with a Club DJ myself - however, I have his info at work - FM me and I'll reply back w/his info - $600 for a one man show - for a four hour reception!

Re: Club DJ Question

I can definitely recommend my dj. He did a fantastic job for our wedding. He DJs at a club in the city. You could probably even go to one of his events to check out his music. He's extremely easy to work with and laid back. Feel free to email me at librydeatyahoodotcom.

Re: Club DJ Question

How are club DJ's with making announcements? I don't want an MC like DJ at my reception, but there may be 1 or 2 things he will have to announce. I really like this idea - never thought about it before.

Anyone else using this type of DJ?

Re: Club DJ Question

Our DJ was our MC as well - he was very professional. We gave him the list of names to announce and it went fine.

Re: Club DJ Question

I've been to corporate events before and the DJ made 1 or 2 announcements - no major MC time.

If anyone has every heard of 2 Many DJs or DJ Foosh, this is the style of DJ I really want. Anyone have a similar recommendation?

Thanks!
