Clubs in NYC

My friend, originally from out of state, has been in NY now for a couple years but has never been to a NYC club and wants a girls night/bachelorette party. She has been to lounges with dance floors but I think she wants a real 'club' place. She is in her mid-20's but most of the crowd will be in the 30-32 range. Not looking at Polyesthers or Culture Club or Gemini or places like that.

What do you suggest? and how much is the cover and how are the lines? We want NYC and it will be on Saturday night.

How about Spa, or Lotus, or Bungalow 8.. check out digital city.com for prices reviews and things..

Exit was always my favorite. I haven't been there in over a year, but it definitely has a 'WOW' factor.

Ummm Spa, Lotus, Sessa, and like Jen said- for a 'real' WOW factor go to EXIT- its GIGANTIC! Just call ahead and make sure its a normal club night. They also hold latin and gay nights there!

There is the China Club....but I dont think it has that WOW factor.

I think t he new hot spots are in the East Village. My DH used to be a cop there and said that the clubs are always busy there. There is Spa, Rehab, Pangia, and I'm trying to think of the others and I'm drawing a blank....I know there are a lot on Lafayette.
