Clueless about flowers . . .

I am going to start looking into flowers soon, but am wondering aside from bride, groom, bridal party, and parents, and centerpieces, what else do you order? I have an idea, but feel like I am forgetting some things.

If anyone has a list of what they ordered, it will be greatly appreciated- thanks girls!

we got centerpieces, BP bouquets, Men's Bout's, corsages for mothers, grandmothers and godmothers, flowers for the bride and groom's table, flowers for the cake, flowers for the placecard table and i think that might be it.
The florists you visit should have a good idea of what you will need - but make sure you check with your hall to see what they provide - it could save you some money!

you might also want petals to toss at the church (if you want it and/or its allowed)

This is what we had:

bride's bouquet and tossing bo-k (usually thrown in for free)
bo-k's for MOH and BMs
corsages for mothers and grandmothers
boutinierres for groom
bouts for best man, GMs and dads
corsages for women who passed out programs
centerpieces
flowers for gift table
rose petals for cake table (you also need to think about whether you want flowers on cake)
rose petals for aisle
flowers for ceremony

You don't need to decide exactly how many corsages, etc. when you book your florist, but you should have a rough idea so they can give you an estimate. We booked our florist about 6 months before the wedding and changed our colors, added centerpieces, and, sadly, had to take away one grandmother's corsage before our wedding. We used Milleridge Florist and they were incredibly accomodating! Good luck!
