I just recieved this message from CNN. I am not posting it to scare anyone...I'm just asking for everyone to be super careful today!

State Department warns of 'increased indications' that al Qaeda is preparing attacks on U.S. interests to coincide with 9/11 anniversary.

I think the same thing only because of the 'new' video released yesterday.

but they are also stressing its most likely a US target OUTSIDE of the US.

Yeah, lets not all get excited here. They clearly say that something may happen to US intrests abroad. They are not raising the terror threat level.

IMO, I think that's always a possibility but they sent the alert because of the new tape and because today is Sept. 11th.

I think every 9/11 anniversary there will be a possability. There was last year too.

I agree. They are warning because of the anniversary and because of the release of the new Bin Jackass tape. I remember right after 9/11/01 a list was released which detailed how these al queda people operate. One item said they tend to be big on anniversary's and same targets so every September 11th from now until eternity there will be some sort of raised alert in New York.

Ladies, I know not everyone might have my attitude, but even before 9/11 they were always planning and we were living. Why should we now stop living?? Enjoy every single day of your life, whether or not there is a terror threat. Live every day to the fullest, you never know it might be your last. After the incident, I refused to stop my life in fear and worry. This will not bind me up and keep my stomach in knots.

I guess I have to give credit to my strong faith, b/c I serve a true and risen savior and when its your time its your time. I have confidence in this and I live a very content life. Not trying to throw my religion on anyone, but just had to share with everyone where I get this peace and contentment from.

Take care all and don't let them terrorize you. Part of terrorism is talk, even if they are not planning anything, just keeping their tapes out there and their talks of plans.

FH was invited to go to a business venture meeting in Queens tonight. There will probably be a few hundred people there, including the company President. Am I crazy to ask him not to go? (They have a lot of these meetings, so he can always go to the next one to hear about this opportunity, but the Pres. will be there tonight.)
