For any ladies who have bought or sold a co-op ,can you FM me your attorney's name? I have no idea where to even start looking but I'm sure that I should get someone who's done co-ops before because they're different than buying an actual house.
I have one name but his price seemed a little high based on the good faith estimate I got from the bank so I wanted to shop around a bit. His rate was $1500 ($750 contract, $750 closing). Is that low, hi...?
Thank you!

Re: Co-op attorney
My Fh does closing including co-op, if you are interested FM me. But, I know his firm charges about 1500, so I think that is pretty standard.

Re: Co-op attorney
Thats sounds about average. Depending on the attorney's experience he may charge less or a little more. (800-1600) is average.
I entered into a contract with one for $1200, however the sale did not go through and she only charged about $400 for work already performed.
She is in Bell Blvd. (border line Queens /LI) FM me if you want her info. She was great!
