Co-ops and STAR exemption
Does anyone know the deal on this?
We purchased our co-op in March 2003, so we weren't eligible for STAR in 2003. I applied in September 2003 for 2004, everything went through. But I haven't seen any type of credit.
I called the local assessor's office and they said the tax bill doesn't come until October? and that I would probably see a credit on my maintenance bill after that.
I asked the maintenance co, and they were just useless.
