HOW DO PEOPLE NOT KNOW THAT SHOWERS ARE SUPPOSED BE SURPRISES????

I am glad she didn't tell you the date. You probably knew invites were going out soon, right?

Yea I knew (more like had a feeling) that they'd be sent soon.
My cousin is visiting (she's bmaid, daughter is the Flower girl) in July... I have a feeling its that weekend.... but i dont know any details!

I still need to get a dress.. I guess thats the motivation I need to get my butt in gear!

My boss did the same thing. He was like 'Oh my wife got your little letter in the mail. I was like 'Do you mean to say that your wife received my shower invitation? That probably says this is a suprise on it.' He turned bright red and ran away.
Stupid people!!!

I think it's really hard to surprise a bride with her shower. I mean, we all expect it about 1-2 months before our weddings. And if you have OOTers coming to the wedding, and they are close enough to you, you know when they are coming into town and what not ... it's hard.

I thought I knew when mine was - my best friend is pregnant and due in Sept. She already has a 2 year old, and she was telling me a while ago that she's having the 2 yo's 3rd bday party in August instead of in October when her bday is since she'll be crazy busy with the new baby then, etc ... so I was thinking that was her trying to throw me off, but then a few days ago she told me she booked it and it's at White Post Farms. Unless I am having a barnyard animal-themed shower, I think I was wrong. But we all try to guess, etc - I would bet 50% or more of us figure it out!

Hahahaha - guys have NO CLUE. You really can't blame them, now, can you?

Women, however, should KNOW BETTER.

All the men I work with are from England, so I think the culture is a bit different as well. One of my male co-workers told me that my sister set up and email address for the RSVPs. I was just like....that's another thing I didn't need to know...

A BRIDESMAID ruined it for you????? Shouldn't they, of all people, KNOW?? Oh I am so sorry! People are really ... well, I won't call them dumb because that is not nice, but that's what I was going for.
