Does anyone know of a venue that will do a cocktail and dessert reception along with a ceremony? I'm looking to have about 80 ppl and have the party last about 3 hours after the ceremony.

You should call some venues that you like and ask them! I am under the impression that most any venue that does weddings would have this kind of affair.

I agree...I cannot imagine that a venue would not be able to accomodate this type of party....Seems like you should be asking for CH and Vieneese hour

There are alot of places that offer this option now. I am having a cocktail reception @ Three Village Inn and i'm also getting married there. I'm also having about 80 people and I thought this was a great option as opposed to the sit down dinner.

I'm paying $60/pp The first hour is passed appetizers and then the stations open until dessert. Its a 4 1/2 affair. Im having anxiety over it but also love that its not the norm. Fingers crossed.
