Cocktail Hour

Is anyone going to attend their CH or will you hang out in the bridal suite and make your first appearance when they announce you?

I dont know yet...part of me wants to attend it the other part of me doesn't...PLUS this all depends if we'll be done with pics by then

I am doing the same. I love my CH room and the food and everything. I don't want to miss it as much as I wanted to wait to be seen at the reception but oh well. Plus you can greet some of your guests at CH and then the rest at the reception.

I'm doing pics before my ceremony. I haven't even thought about the CH. I assumed I'd go. I'm having an hour and a half CH.

I posted one of these bulletins before, I will def be attending my CH, that is the best part and I would not want to miss it, beside I am the bride, I'll be making my appearance the whole day

yeah i know...it would be good though to get alot of the hello's out of the way at CH, otherwise well spend half the night doing this, since we have a big guest list ...But a big part is whether or not were done with pics...I dont want to rush through my pics.

i will probably go to atleast half of it. I love my cocktail hour room and the food so i really want to go. I hope my pictures are done by then i have 3 1/2 hours between the church and CH

Us too, it all depends on how long the pics take.
Ideally, I would like to eat in our Bridal Suite and then greet some guests at our Cocktail hour.

We are taking our pictures before the ceremony so we can enjoy the whole wedding with our friends and family! That is why we are throwing the big wedding. We will mingle and eat with our guests at the cocktail hour, then be announced by our DJ at the reception

Me too!!! I even extended it a half hour just in case pics take longer than expected.

i plan on being done with pics and getting to 45 minutes of my cocktail hour. and i will be announced at my reception as well.

i think you should do what you are comfortable with.
