my mother an dfather are being so annoying about it. they are telling me i need the big intro and everything. but with a very large wedding i cant see how i will say hi to everyone wout going out

We are going to our cocktail hour. We are using as time to say hello to as many people as possible so we don't have to go to every table.

We are actually seeing each other before the ceremony to take pictures, just so we can be on time to our cocktail hour! It's the best part and we are paying for it, why miss it?

ETS: Plus then you can get saying hello to everyone out of the way, so you can dance your night away, instead on doing table visits!

We'll be stuck taking photos and I LOVE cocktail food. I'll be hiding in the bridal suite during the wedding stuffing my face on cold cocktail food :)

We are going to be there....we are taking most pics before the CH because we don't want to miss out. Its the more relaxed part of the evening....so we want to say hello and enjoy it.

Ditto - pictures before so we (and our family and BP) dont have to miss it. CH is my favorite part and FH, his family and a lot of our friends have never been to a 'NY wedding' -- I wouldn't want them to miss out!
