Cocktail hour food - what do you have?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to add more food stations during cocktail hour. If you've already picked your menu, can you list what you'll have at cocktail hour? Thanks!!

What your catering hall provides is enough Im sure. If you have a big budget and want to add food, thats great but dont feel that you need to add food. Im only going with what they provide. Those '$3 extra per person' add up and Id rather spend that on my honeymoon. Where are you getting married? maybe if you post it, brides on here can give you better advice

We are going to have a mashed potato bar, sushi bar, carving station, pasta station, bread & cheese, chafing dishes, fresh fruit & veggies, a french station (with crepes) and an asian station. This is along with 35 different passed hors d'oeuvers.

went to a wedding here a few years ago - their cocktail hour was THE BEST EVER!!!!! the large variety of food was hands down the best at any wedding we've ever been to. literally, anything we wanted, they had. make sure you tell your guests to come hungry lol!

At Bridgeview I had a choice of three Stations and I picked:
Coney Island Station: Hot dogs, Knishes, sliders, soft pretzels, french fries, cheese sauce.

Smokehouse Station:
Ribs, chicken, cornbread, Macaroni and cheese, black bean salsa

Seafood Station:
Mussels, shrimp and Calamari

Along with the cold buffet (vegetable crudite, hummus, olives, cold antipasto) and 10 passed hors d'oeuvers.

I think the halls provide you with enough food for cocktail hour. I would only get something extra if it is a must have to you or FH.

FH wanted the Italian cart so we splurged (the poor guy doesn't have many requests and most I say no to).

Cold Display/Cheeses /fruit
Baked Bread station
2 pasta Stations

Sand Castle has a nice cocktail hour I thought... But, I wish I was able to enjoy it though!!

We had:

2 Pasta Stations
3 Carving Stations
1 Greek Station (Shrimp and Lamb Kebabs)
1 Sauteed Station (Steak au poive)
1 Asian Station (Moo shu peking duck)
A Raw Bar (Shrimp cocktail, oysters, crab claws)
10 or 12 Chaffing Dishes
Antipasto/ Crudite / Cold Display / Baked bread
A Martini Bar presentation

I think that's it, but now I don't remember. Literally all I was able to eat were one oyster, a shrimp and piece of fresh mozzerlla
:(

My advice, if you're going to cocktail hour wear a disguise!

Sandcastle had a great cocktail hour when I was in my friends wedding.

I def agree about the disguise. I hid at a table of my husbands relatives so I could eat some mac n cheese.
