I would like to have 2 musicians play at my cocktail hour, but am not sure what type to get...
I think I would like one violinist and then something else...any recommendations for what works well together?
TIA!!!

Re: Cocktail Hour Music
I am doing a jazz trio. My music company said that violins/harpists would be too mellow.

Re: Cocktail Hour Music
My cousin had a violinist, and a harpist at her cocktail hour, my mother still talks about it!
eta: she thought it was such an elegant touch.

Re: Cocktail Hour Music
Try Counterpoint...they are a vendor here. I'm getting a string trio through them. Very reasonably priced and I have a CD they gave me.
FM me with any questions.

Re: Cocktail Hour Music
I replied on your other thread. Violin and cello are nice, violin and viola are nice, two violins, violin and flute. Those would all work nicely. I have a student who plays flute with a violinist for weddings if you want me to ask her.
