FH and I want to put a list of song together for our CH on his ipod well his computer is giving him issues so it is a neccesity to have music during the cocktail music? Opinion please.

Def not necessary. Most people are talking/mingling. I don't even usually notice if theres music at CH.

Agreed -- why not ask the RH if they have any soft music they can pipe into the speakers during the CH? If not, I wouldn't stress because its going ot be so loud in there anyway with everyone chatting and eatting!!
