Re: Cocktail hour tables???
some places actually have a choice..like my RH will put out a candle votile or a can do a floating candle/ or a floating flower (which the florist would then provide)

Re: Cocktail hour tables???
our florist steered us away from it, the tables are too small, only in there for an hour, its an added expense that just gets wasted - better to put that money towards something else - like upgrading the CPs in the reception or something else...

Re: Cocktail hour tables???
My mom insists that we have a few tables with small cp - they will also have votives on them. Only about 5-6 tables will have the smaller cp - then after cocktail hour they will remain on the tables that stay in room w/ DJ. It will look pretty

I think I will end up doing a few floating candles on a few tables or votives

Re: Cocktail hour tables???
If money were no object I would but my cocktail hour is outside so even candles seems like a waste to me. I might as well save the $30 a table and use it for something else.

Re: Cocktail hour tables???
ask you RH what most people do.
Most people probably won't notice. CH tables are usually just a place to set your drink down or leave behind napkins and toothpicks
