Cocktail party: need some ideas???

My aunt and I are planning a cocktail party, what are some yummy and different hor dourves that can passed around?

Well of course there are the usuals: pigs in a blanket, mini quiches, mozzarella sticks, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, spinach puffs, etc... You could also try making homemade bruschetta, chicken satays, grilled shrimp, baby lamb chops and fancier stuff like that. After a reak from hors duerves you can serve dessert finger foods, like chocolate covered berries, pastries, cookies, chocolates- all served on platters just like you would serve hors duerves.

I work in catering and all of Nicole's ideas are fantastic

Also try Scallops wrapped in bacon

beef negimaki, bulgoki, pigs in a blanket, stuffed mushrooms, mini eggrolls, spanakopita, coconut shrimp, latkes (potato pancake), mini beef wellingtons (more of an entree tho)..

these are just some of the things we had at my sisters eparty and will have at mine. my dad's a chef i could go on forever.. and this is making me really hungry now
